Today

Hebrews 3:15 says:

'Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as you did in the rebellion'.

I want to change and be like Jesus

And have His heart and walk His way.

I do feel sorry for the sins I've done

And I ask to be in Him today.

I pray He leads me step by step,

To live the life He has for me.

It might be suffering or enduring,

Or having someone for a cup of tea.

It might be planning, planting, reaping,

Or sorting out an awkward problem.

It might be working - plus a meeting!

Or a blessing come my way.

It might be visiting a lonely person,

Or helping mend a broken heart.

It might be dealing with sick children,

Or just quietly 'playing my part'.

Jesus is Lord

'Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.'
