Bible Thoughts

This section of the website offers some insights into particular areas of the Bible. We have come to realize that Romans 12:2 is a key verse for understanding the Lord's methodology for our development. We recommend a close study of this verse and an equally close study of its application over a continuum ranging from the individual up to Christian organizations. Representative feedback will be published.

You will hear a lot of sermons on Paul's second letter to the Corinthians without looking into the passion of the man. The artist I like the most is Van Gogh. This is simply because I feel I am looking right into his mind when I stare at his paintings. So it is with Paul. Go through the exercise in Bible study in and you will understand better what drove Paul the man, Paul the Apostle.

'I am the vine,' said Jesus. John recorded this and we can read it in the fifteenth chapter of his gospel. A visit with a brain damaged ballerina to the world's oldest cultivated vine in England and a chat with a missionary/theologian gave me some insights worth sharing. A surprising phase space view of Christian structure has become a cherished gift.

For all that is written and taught about the Bible, there is surprisingly little thoughtful application. In our section we look at ways of upgrading our inherited church systems. But read through some of the Bible Thoughts and you might begin to think of some ways yourself.

Jesus is Lord

'Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you.  I do not give to you as the world gives.  Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.'
