Matthew 4:4

Jesus answered, 'It is written, Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God'.

Lord, I want to eat of your food *

And drink of your wine,

Your fountain is good **

You are the true vine. *

Lead me with sight

So that I'll never be blind.

Give me an ear, to hear when you call,

Speak clearly, dear Lord, and make me thine.

To be in your peace and with a new mind.

Lead me to heaven and save me from hell,
